Xenical.
Xenical (orlistat) can be recommended by your doctor if you have obesity – a lot of excessive weight that can be dangerous to your health. Taking Xenical may be associated with a number of side effects, such as oily or fatty stools, loose stools, gas with oily spotting, irregular menstrual periods, urgent need to have a bowel movement, headache, anxiety, increased number of bowel movements, stomach pain, or oily spotting. However, the side effects mentioned reflect the correct work of this medicine and are likely to go away as the treatment is continued. Your health care provider needs to know if you are using anticoagulants, other weight loss medications, medications for diabetes, medications to control blood pressure, medications for thyroid, or other over-the-counter or prescription products. You will also need to report the fact of having eating disorder, kidney stones, gallbladder disease, diabetes, pancreatitis, or thyroid disease, since some of those conditions can affect the success of your treatment. Take Xenical regularly, three times a day before a meal that contains fat. If there is no fat in your meal – skip your dose of Xenical.
